The above headline is from the UN Foundation-sponsored blog UN Dispatch, which published 1,819 words of smackdown, to be exact—about one song. (We can already hear the pitch letters from word-starved music writers going out to UN Dispatch now.) Our favorite line of many worthy candidates: "The only thing I could decifer was, "Nous besoin d'ordre mondial," meaning, "We need global order." This apparently upsets Mustaine, because he launches into a monster guitar solo!"

Both people in the known world who bought this record agreed that they didn't know what the hell Mustaine was talking about, either.
"United Abominations?" Geopolitical SNAP!
(Though personally I prefer NayTO.)
Loudersoft: The album is quite awesome and selling pretty well.
I just read the article. The author completely misses context and sarcasm. And apparently has little idea of Mustaine's lefty political past with Peace Sells and Rust in Peace. He has always been critical of gov't corruption.
This is awesome that the author believes Mustaine to be a right wing fundamentalist wacko, when many of those lyrics are chastising the UN for following a fundamentalist right wing wacko!
Just dropping in to say that the new Megadeth disc is excellent!
David Icke is ghostwriting for Mustaine, for sure.
