NME is speculating that the next artist to be signed by Starbucks' Hear Music label won't be Prince, but will instead be Prince influence Joni Mitchell. Also, the coffee giant is thinking of partnering up with Hershey on a chocolate line, which, one hopes, will lead to their own pavilion at Hersheypark. [NME]

The 'Bucks should shoot for Carly Simon and get her to do a re-record of "Clouds In My Coffee." The licensing possibilities boggle the mind.
The depression that would follow is probably bottomless too...
I think Yung Joc's "The Coffeeshop" would be the best possible single for Starbucks to release, especially considering the overt mention of "StarBLOCKS" in the song itself.
On a lighter note, YAY JONI!!
Smart marketing-If I am going to listen to Joni Mitchell, I am definitely going to be needing some coffee...
