Former Village Voice Media employee Dan Gibson here again, filling in for Maura on my first guest-editing venture outside the cozy confines of a Monday and a weekend's backlog of material to fall back on. If someone from a major label would kindly say something stupid or someone vaguely connected with music could get arrested today, that would make my job a bit easier. Heck, I'd settle for Sasha Frere-Jones calling everyone racists again. I don't want to have to resort to writing about something like the PLUG Award nominees, after all.
