So everyone is posting this clip of french house duo Justice on Jimmy Kimmel, and as I'm not made of stone, I'll admit it's a pretty cute way to recreate a dance record for a late-night talk show. But it did get me thinking, and as a counter-argument, I'd like to post just three examples of why Justice are still total pikers when it comes to finding batshit ways for electronic duos to perform live for a studio audience:
and
and especially

The Orb as well -- YouTube doesn't have it but for an appearance on Top of the Pops for "The Blue Room" they sat down and played chess.
@Ned Raggett: That was actually my first thought! Dumb YouTube.
Seeing the fake Stevie on drums reminded me of seeing the real Stevie on drums...

See, this is why "D.A.N.C.E." is the single of the year: it can put Prince and Rick James on the same stage without the two of 'em getting at each others' throats.
@natepatrin: not to mention the fact that they're doing it 2 years after Rick died. That's quite an accomplishment.
Don't forget Doctorin' the Tardis on the TOTP Xmas Special, with the guys in weirdly KKK-like outfits, and a special appearance by Gary Glitter:

Not to mention the original appearance:

I've got tickets to see Justice in Philly next Sunday just cause they were so ungodly cheap. But I live in Baltimore and am feeling lazy - anyone got any opinions on whether I should suck it up and go or just sell the tix?
the justice performance seems a bit like a minstrel-by-proxy show...
@doctaj: Even the Rod Stewart impersonator?
Yep, as they say in ol' Blighty: Justice is pants!
man but that klf vs ent clip is still like the best thing ever, even in crappy "digitised from an old vhs" mode...
