Marnie Stern's Hidden Meanings

So remember that drilling that I mentioned yesterday? Yeah, it's been going on today again, although it's more intermittent and shorter than it was 24 hours ago. (It's also been punctuated by some rhythmic—and room-shaking!—banging, apparently because there is a door being installed in my backyard.) Anyway, I've been trying to combat today's construction with my "2007 awesomeness" playlist* the one song that's best complemented the drill's whine is the deliberate, pummeling "Every Single Line Means Something" by axe-wielding indie metal chick Marnie Stern. And I mean that in the very best way—"Something" is probably one of the sunshiniest examples of absolute shredding I've heard in many, many years. (Although I really, really hope this little project is over by the time Friday rolls around, because I will be way too bloated with stuffing to deal.)
