Mark September 29 in your calendar. That’s the day Miley Cyrus’ Younger Now, Dolly Parton’s I Believe In You and Shania Twain’s Shania Now arrive. It’s also the date that Demi Lovato unleashes her 6th LP, Tell Me You Love Me. The pop star shared the black-and-white cover art, which features a close-up of the diva staring defiantly into the camera, and the title track this afternoon (August 23). The latter is a fiery mid-tempo anthem that showcases the 25-year-old’s transformation into a sexy soul singer.

“And all my friends they know and it’s true, I don’t know who I am without you,” Demi declares over John Hill and Stint’s percussion-heavy production. “I got it bad, baby… oh, tell me you love me.” It’s a good sound for the hitmaker, who is winning the battle of the ex-acts with “Sorry Not Sorry.” That track will crash into the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100 next week and should break into the top 10 with rising radio airplay and a string of high profile performances.
