To Bjork with Pork: How sad for you that your existence could be so deluded that you don't understand how disrespectful it is to mention Nelly in comparison to Prince. I'll pray that this former Milli Vanilli fan is one day enlightened.

& If this man chooses to make another mainstream rock album, I would say they'd all eat their words, but they'll just become fans too!

It was good, mind you, but it would've been way better if the sound person had made it possible to hear the non-Prince people playing on stage. The only time way could hear them was via bleed into Prince's vocal mic. Good thing Prince's singing and guitar playing are so damn awesome! Otherwise the inability to hear anything else most of the time could've been a big problem.

The Robin Hood: Men In Tights-esque silouhette bit, the marching band and getting the crowd to do some of the work were all awesome bits.

It sure beat the hell out Billy Joel's auto-tuned-to-death rendition of the national anthem.

Does anybody think that the cover of "Best of You" was in response to the Foos cover of "Darling Nikki" in 2003?

I've heard that Prince was pretty displeased about their cover, saying that people should "make their own music" and the he'd "like to shoot them in the head."

I guess Dave publicly asked for the song to stop being played on the radio to appease our royal highness.

So, now for the real question: has Prince gotten the best of Dave Grohl by playing a FF song (better than the foos, may I add) at the friggin' Super Bowl?

Having a number 1 album in 2005(yes it sold more than 65,000 copies) and a number 1 tour in 2004 is totally relevant in the 21st Century. And no one else today could have pulled off what he did last night in front of 140 million people in a heavy downpour.

Just astounding. James Brown-ish in showmanship. He fixed up a really mediocre Foos song and made it his own. Definitely an A+ performance, especially when graded on the Super Bowl curve. There's nothing close.

Amen, Bjork. This half-time show could have been awesome...in 1991. His two stroke victims/strippers/dancers, Yngwie guitar feedbacks, and sloppy song transitions (FOO FIGHTERS?!?!?) made me wish for Nelly and Aerosmith. I find it pretty amazing how so many people loved this performance--I was in a room full of people who begged me to turn the channel. But it's also nice to see how peeps hold on to the image of Prince of yore and love this guy unconditionally despite the collective yawn of 157 million people.

I was never all that impressed with "Best of You" as a Foos song, and His Royal Badness has actually made me love it.

I spent the whole halftime show rapt while yahoos at my Superbowl party were making peanut-gallery comments. I couldn't talk (except when I had to explain to one yahoo that, no, Grohl would not mind Prince doing his song seeing as Grohl covered "Darling Nikki"). Don't you people understand this man is a god? I thought to myself. Then of course, when it was all over and the wisecracks stopped, pretty much the whole room admitted the show kicked ass.

Prince is incredible -- I happened to catch his Musicology tour two years ago and he was phenomenal. I thought his version of "Best of You" was awesome switched-up into the minor key -- he made it almost haunting. I was looking forward to half-time, knowing the man would put on a show and he didn't disappoint.
