I would have just fought my way up to the front once the hectic MOSH PIT started up!! Man, everytime TV on the Radio starts kicking out those heavy goddamn grooves, double-bass drums, and brutal screaming vocals, I just want to stage dive off a mountain and strangle a pot-bellied pig.

I'm getting all worked up just thinking about it.

I've always found the Newport to be a magnet for douchebags, in general.

And, TVOTR "made it" on the last tour, as I had a crowd of people who thought they were making funny smartass comments throughout the whole show. No, dude, your newsboy cap does not make you hip.
Needless to say I unloaded my ticket for Tuesday. I'm just a little sad I'll be missing Subtle.

.....These days, if I'm going to a non-reserved seating concert, I just figure that there WILL be assholes like this guy there. My solution is to have a big plate or two of baked beans and collards about 2 hours before showtime. If their nose works, they're in for it...
