After taking a lot of flack over the last few months, MTV.com has redesigned again. The criticism waged against the previous incarnation was its use of Flash, but the real problem was simply its slowness (and there's no reason these should be connected). Also: MTV has a labs site.

Flash is PAINFULLY overrated!

It does not secure your data. It takes too long to load. People who need sites think that because everyone says "Flash", they need it for their sites.

Overrated. Unnecessary. Blah.

Now if only MTV would actually care about their programming. ;)
