Sigh, what an underrated band. One of a handful of bands (along with Euroboys, Flaming Sideburns, etc.) that are responsible for the current level of excitement that comes over me when I come across unfamiliar Scandinavian rock bands. It's like a good friend of mine says: life is so dull there that they have nothing better to do than rock.

BagDad

I dug this record for a while, and "The Truth is Fucked" became my personal soundtrack to the build-up (ie lies) to the Iraq war. Still love that track.

MC

This band's name always confused me -- I was hoping for reissues of Laura Lee, a fantastic 70s soul singer who provided her take on the same stories the guys were telling. Unfortunately, I don't think these Swedes ever got around to covering "Wedlock Is A Padlock" or "Women's Love Rights."

Deadly Tango

Loved this band's first two releases. Great live act. But the group's curse was that its frontman looked like a really pale version of Frankenstein's younger brother.

R. Morast

When this came out It reminded me of the Hives meets Jesus and Mary Chain. Nothing has really changed my mind. Still I wonder if they would put on a better show then the one JAMC are currently trotting aroudn th country

rinjonjori

I remember enjoying this when it came out a few years back. Their Swedish accents turned "The Truth is Fucked" to "The Twoo is Fuh". Good times.

The Riffage
