And I'm impressed -- tho not surprised -- that "Umbrella" and "Rehab" -- 2 very-damn-catchy pop songs -- are the only songs that earned something-like near-unanimous praise from the panel o' judges.

Regular readers in these parts are well aware that we have been lamenting for some time the glacial pace at which the Hot 100 changes these days. So, it should not come as a surprise to anyone that this week's chart has Timbaland's "The Way I Are" leaping all the way from 18 to 6, knocking Maroon 5, Avril, JT and Amy all down one notch. Fergie and the Plain White T's swap the 3 and 4 positions. And everything else stays the same.
