Got to sit in for two days or so [paid, surprisingly] to see if I would be a good fit. Some concert merchandising company or something. One of their clients? Fergie and the Black Eyed Peas. Sometime this past spring. Fergie's people come in. Conference room. Talking loud. Door not closed. Outlandish white Fergie guy makes black joke. They all laugh then look at the receptionist desk and sort of give a oops my bad look.

Anyways...

One thing he was going on and on about was Fergie's next single Big Girls Don't Cry and how she actually sings on this one, girls will eat it up, she's gonna perform on American Idol in a few weeks and BAM more sales, more interest, sold-out tour. I was like, yeah, okay and then went on to play that damn song all fucking weekend. This was in like March or April or something. Guess the fucker was right...
