I don't remember Jet being in one of the "silouhette" ads, but I'm old, and I'm losing my mind.

I do however remember that the Caesars briefly became the new Hives or Strokes or whatever when Apple used "Jerk It Out" in one of those silhouette ads.

Also, apropos of that, the iTunes store has gone meta with the navel-gazing -- they've put together a collection of songs that appear in television commercials -- including several Apple commercials. [If anyone is interested, the collection is called "Commercial Success", and you can find it in the "iTunes Collections" section of the "Music" department of the store.]
