In England it went pretty much:
Geri H - first album did pretty well, 2nd album did okay, 3rd album died on it's arse - bye bye record contract
Scary - first single went to number one, album died on it's arse - bye bey record contract
Emma B - Had a couple of hits, faded away, had a couple more, faded away. Probably still has a record deal
Sporty - first album sold truckloads, easily biggest selling solo spice record, 2nd album more 'selective', 3rd album self released. Again, probably still has a deal.
Posh - first album, well, it came out. Then she went off to America with Damon Dash for ages to make an R&B record or something, but it never came out. Again, bye bye record deal. But then, she seems to have done alright..

fudgester

I'm a fan of Mel. C's voice and liked "I Turn to You," but do we have numerical proof that she had the most successful post-Spice career? I don't recall her albums doing any business, whereas Emma's Free Me was a modest hit in Europe, wasn't it?

Chris Molanphy
