@dennisobell, @GovernmentNames: Truly, "Chris Brown = Gen-Z Usher" is brilliant. Also true.

@dennisobell: I don't want to steal your thunder -- we know how some people feel about those things around here [*cough* GovernmentNames *cough*], but didja notice what song ended up at number 44 this week?

Brown--let's call him the Gen-Z Usher

Please--let's not.

The "I'm So Hood" thing is interesting because it looks to be one of those songs where the album version (with Trick Daddy, Rick Ross and Plies) appears on the chart, but already most radio stations are opting to play the vastly superior remix (with Young Jeezy, Ludacris, and about 6 other guys) more, even during regular daytime playlists.

Al Shipley

Great work as always, Mr. dennisobell. I find it interesting -- and perhaps amazing -- that "Big Girls Don't Cry" is holding on to the top twelve a full 7 months after it hit the chart. I'd be curious to hear your theories on how she's pulled that off. Especially considering that every week [it seems] one or two new tracks make it to the top 20 -- yet Fergie doesn't budge.

Rob Murphy
