NME has no politics. For example, personally, I thought the 'MDMAmazing' Klaxons headline was a tad irresponsible, but, y'know, it's a music paper.

Calling bullshit on a music writer's musical knowedge...that burns. These writers trade on inherited reputations that are just smoke and mirrors.

Tim 'Know Nuthin' Jonze hasn't heard 'Drive-In Saturday?!' It was on that 'Best of Bowie' that came out in '02...

The veil has been publicly lifted, not just for people like us, (who are busy drafting and re-drafting a whole new rule book for internet writing), but for people who read the Guardian. It's official: these chancers can't write and don't really know that much about music. Tim 'Know Nuthin' Jonze must feel like such a nardbag tonight.

I dunno, I wanna give Moz the win, but the rant reads like distraction and self-justification to me. I'm sure NME made the interview more sensational than it was, but if they've got him on tape saying some of what he said, there's no wriggling out.
