That song was the total soul-ballad sleeper of the year (not the best, just the sleeper; it crept up really gradually, unlike, say, Robin Thicke or J. Holiday), and it's a final acknowledgment that, whatever Yamin looks like, dude is a total heir to the Donny Hathaway sound. Even while I find his material a bit tepid, I continue to root for him long after liking him best on Idol '06.
