As an adult fan of this band (probably a fan because I have small child who watches a lot of Disney, but trust me I am 100 times the fan she is), I have witnessed this on teh Youtubes.

Since the posters of these videos are usually 12 year old boys with a YouTube Channel full of footage of videogames and the Family Guy with some heavy metal thrown in, I often find myself just chuckling at youthful memories of early flame wars on the Prodigy message boards (remember?!)

But when I see how upset the little tweens get, it does make me feel like a freedom fighter for their girlish dignity. I usually try to offer the boys the sage advice that telling girls the stuff they like sucks ass is usually a bad first step in getting them to want to date you.

I offer this advice to adult men and women out there as well. You're welcome!

I hate country music. That doesn't mean country music is "bad" music, just that I don't like it. Nor do I like Slipknot. I've never heard Jonas Brothers so I can't honestly make a judgement on them, but based on previous boy bands I think I can safely say that odds are I don't like them either.

The video is amusing, just not in the way the creators intended.
