I once saw Shakira perform, and she interrupted the flow of the concert for an 8 minute A/V "performance" by some random dancer who was not Shakira. Hilariously bad tactics, but credit for keeping the show going without resorting to a drum solo.

Have we already discussed this? I...I am shamefully in love with the Cyrus song "See You Again." I had no idea who it was the first couple times I heard it on the radio, and it's better than any pop-punk I've heard from any of the tartlets in the last couple of years.

To Cyrus' credit, this sort of thing happens all the time. I'm pretty sure when I saw Bowie a few years ago, they had replaced him with a look-a-like from the very start.
