It wasn't a matter of Davis being unhappy with her sound (which wasn't much of a departure from <i>Breakaway</i> anyway), it was a matter of Davis having more faith professional songwriters for no real reason.  (They weren't writing markedly different songs, and they weren't writing markedly more marketable songs -- remember, Lindsay's album flopped -- and wait, isn't Kelly a professional songwriter? 		    <description><![CDATA[<p>I'm still not convinced that Clive's "direction" for Kelly was that much different than the one she chose, or that this was anything more than a stubborn power thing (which the press for the most part indulged on "artistic" grounds). Only track I'm aware he even shopped for her was Lindsay Lohan's "Black Hole," which uh....sounds very <i>My December</i>-y!
