"Pink Houses" has that line about (paraphrasing here) "when I was younger, my daddy told me 'boy, you gon' be president'/but like most of my dreams, that one just kinda came and went." There's a hopeful campaign anthem right there!

You'd expect the Dems to be less tone-deaf, but "Don't Stop" is pretty depressing too if you listen past the chorus.
