I make mixtapes on cassette, spin on vinyl and write for the magazine and music industries.

Last week, I had a moment where I got wistful for the days when I ordered the NME via Air Mail and wrote down the band names I was interested in, and then researched them -- somehow? -- over the course of the next six months.

Shit, I even wrote a book. How irrelevant can I be?

I feel the weight of my impending extinction on the daily, but never so much as after reading this. I thank you for waking me up from my zombie grave to have a chance at doing the Thriller dance on this 25th anniversary.

Still, I wonder if Rich Uncle Pennybags could use some freelancers?
