After a few horrible attempts at infusing Urban songs with rock sounds (Shop Boyz, R. Kelly's "Rockstar"), this succeeds in not sounding stale and predictable at all. And it's probably just me, but the beat reminds me of a glam rock stomper from the 70's, something you wouldn't usually associate with R&B.

Also, this first leaked about a month ago and was called "This Is How We Do It In The A". The title was then changed to "How We Do It (Around My Way)", I imagine to not alienate listeners outside of Atlanta.
