To this day, I have no idea what that means, but I would go through a bit in which I would ask if they meant "Chakra The Monkey" by Peter Gabriel or "Rufus and Chakra Khan". Similar to your "Dave" story, it made me briefly happy enough not to weep openly over how much I was making an hour.
