A lot of the songs made it to Maladroit in different versions ("Keep Fishin'" is a notable example), and I think a couple are represented on the new RC solo disc.

For an official bootleg, it had a pretty long lifespan on their website (beyond the album release, even), but it's been surprisingly hard to find since they took it down.

If any other band puts out a good debut album and a lame follow-up, people write them off and then move on, they don't spend the next decade plus continually buying their subpar albums and whinging about it.

It wouldn't bug me half as much if that first album wasn't so awful, the success of which was obviously based upon the videos. If people are whining this way about OK Go in 10 years, i'm going to scream.
