Did you know American Idol is having a songwriting contest this year?
They also had one last year.
They charged ten dollars per entry and according to American Idol they had over 25.000
entrys last year and thousands this year.
So at ten bucks a pop they made at least $500.000
Last years winner was Scott Krippayne & Jeff Peabody for the song This Is My Now.
