Every time she sees him in person (or *shudder* the Thorns), she calls me, because she says I care about music more than her other friends, and thus should be moved by her tears over her idol. One of my favorite moments in college was walking down a hallway with her, as we crossed an indie-rock kid in an ironic Shawn Mullins shirt. She accosted him, asking if he had heard any of the new album, and nearly scared the man to death in the process.
