And the beginning, with the washed-out visuals and flares of light fit the song really well.

But as the video progressed, and they realized they were trying to sell product, there was - for me, anyway - a total disconnect between what I was seeing and what I was hearing.

The images just weren't gauzy and desaturated enough to fit with the song. Sad.

And I agree with dukkookim; while Saturdays = Youth is great, Before The Dawn Heals Us is INCREDIBLE.
