So tonight's results are a huge surprise. I haven't been this excited since Fantasia won, 4 years ago. About damn time already!!!!!!!!!!!!

I mean, I totally understand the hate for his dad, but it's a seventeen-year-old kid with a great voice and a big dream...He delivered the most stunning performances of the season (see "Smoky Mountain Memories," "Shop Around," "And So It Goes" and "Love Me Tender"). He shouldn't be upset tonight--he'll get an almost equal chance at fame--but the fact that people are celebrating his loss sort of pisses me off.

My general thoughts on the season are that it was a total fuck-up. All the best and/or most interesting people left way too early (Asia'h Epperson, Alaina Whitaker, Alexandrea Lushington, Danny Noriega and, uh, Josiah Lemming), and the themes mostly sucked (though I must give credit to whoever thought of Dolly Parton)...Just not as entertaining as I would have hoped.
