Break Stuff happens to be my favorite song ever, and the all of the music created by Fred came from hours and hours of hard work and a lot of sacrifice from Fred and the band. No one could be as proud of Fred when I observed how much respect he earned by the crew and all of the staff when I visited the movie set of Longshots. He wouldn’t rest until he had done his best on every single aspect of directing this movie. I know you are saying, “But you are just his mother,” but what you may not know is that I have always been his hardest critic. I tell him the truth just as I am telling it to you. Longshots is a tremendous movie. Icecube is an unbelievably talented actor in this movie, and was so humble to everyone. (He gave up his chair to me whenever I came onto the set, like a true gentleman, insisting that I be as comfortable as possible.) I will never forget his kindness and neither will the entire crew. So, as with Fred’s music you love to hate, I hope you love to hate the wonderful director, Fred Durst, in the movie, Longshots. Having Fred Durst as my son is the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to my life. I have always loved to love him. I love you guys, too. Anita Durst
