#1 ‘Maxim’ Gurl Katy Perry Announces New Album ‘Teenage Dream’

Katy Perry’s new single, sunny summer jam “California Gurls,” hit iTunes today. And now the soon-to-be-wedded pop babe has announced that her upcoming sophomore album, Teenage Dream, will be released August 24. Coincidentally (riiiight), Katy also just landed at #1 on Maxim‘s 2010 Hot 100 List of the world’s most beautiful women. See which other pop stars she beat out after the jump.
