Madonna‘s MDNA world tour kicked off tonight (May 31) at the 35,000-seat Ramat Gan Stadium in Tel Aviv, Israel, and the pop icon gave all her luvin’ to the country she loves.

“I chose to start my world tour in Israel for a very specific and important reason,” the 53-year-old pop star announced to the crowd in between numbers. “You can’t be a fan of mine and not want peace in the world,  we all bleed the same color. If we can all rise above our egos and our titles and the names of our countries and our religions, and treat everyone around us with dignity and respect, then we are on the road to peace. If there is peace here in the Middle East, there can be peace in the whole world.”

Check out photos of the “Girl Gone Wild” on stage, and watch clips from Madge’s opening night right now by heading here — then come back and tell us if you think the pop star’s stage show is worth $300. Personally, the Material Girl seems a bit stiff doing her mostly-relaxed choreography, and her vocals aren’t always on point, but she seems as game as ever to make sure her fans have an amazing time.
