Bridgit Mendler Tours Los Angeles In Her “Ready Or Not” Video
Bridgit Mendler is a native to Los Angeles — she films her Disney show Good Luck Charlie here in the City of Angels — but the TV star-turned-pop-star plays tourist in the video for her single “Ready Or Not”. (The chorus to Bridgit’s song contains an interpolation of The Delfonics‘ 1968 song “Ready or Not Here I Come (Can’t Hide from Love)”, which was famously sampled by The Fugees in their 1996 single “Ready Or Not”.)
In the clip, Bridgit and her pals travel all around LA, from the Hollywood hills to Venice to the Walk Of Fame, all while snapping pics and breaking out into impromptu dance routines. If all visitors to LA were this cheery and fun to be around, we’d be hanging around the usual tourists traps more often.
Mendler’s debut album, Hello My Name Is, is currently slated for an October release.
