Justin Bieber & Nicki Minaj’s “Beauty And A Beat” Video: Watch The DIY Clip

Remember how Justin Bieber was tweeting about how his laptop was stolen and personal footage was being leaked by a hacker? Yeah, that was all a big PR stunt leading up to the video for “Beauty and a Beat,” his latest single, which features rainbow-wigged chanteuse Nicki Minaj. The clip, which premiered today on Vevo, has a faux-DIY aesthetic that primarily features Bieber turning the camera on himself and filming a rager of a pool party — where there happen to be synchronized swimmers, lots of sexy dancers and Minaj chilling in a pink babydoll dress. Which, actually, sounds like every pool party we’ve ever attended.

Ultimately, it’s all a very typical Bieber affair, with the crooner generally dripping swag, flanked by dancers executing faultless choreography and Dear Old Nicki doing her goofy caricature thing. It is not, as Minaj herself described it a few days ago, much of a game-changer — but it’ll do.

October 12, 2012 will go down in history as the day we all got trolled by Justin Bieber. Watch the Project X-biting clip above.
