Rihanna’s ‘Unapologetic’ Debuts At #1, According To Rihanna
Looks like the predictions were right: Rihanna‘s latest LP Unapologetic has debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, giving the Bajan banger her first #1 album in the United States. The source on this news? Rihanna herself, who took a breather from Instagramming GPOYs with a blunt and jetsetting around the world to tweet about the landmark success — a double feather in her cap, given that “Diamonds” went to #1 on the Hot 100 last week.
As chart geeks know, despite Rihanna’s extraordinary string of 12 #1 singles on the Hot 100 chart, she had yet to nab a #1 album in the United States — which makes this a particularly thrilling victory for the detractors (or “haters,” as the kids are calling them) who have called her a singles artist.Wait!!!!! What the FUCK?!!!! #UNAPOLOGETIC just debuted at #1 in AMERICA!!!!! My first number 1 album there!!! Thank you Navy, u deserve it

Billboard will announce their official chart listings tomorrow morning, but we’re going to assume at this point that RiRi has intel to which we mortals aren’t privy — and barring that, if she got it wrong, just don’t expect her to apologize. Did you know? She’s #UNAPOLOGETIC.
