For the latest video in our New & Notable series, in which we showcase rising talent performing in a distinctive location, we chose the brother-sister duo Blondfire, who have been making serious waves with their single “Where the Kids Are.” Signed to Warner Bros. Records, the pair — comprised of siblings Bruce and Erica Driscoll — are readying their major-label debut, Young Heart, which features Blondfire’s lushly synth-spangled, hook-driven production and Erica’s emotive vocals.

As part of our partnership with Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, Idolator accompanied Blondfire to a park in Hollywood before heading to Wax Studios, where they performed a lively rendition of their track “Where the Kids Are.” But even in their downtime, they’re musicians to the core: During a break in shooting, Erica busted out a lovely cover of Fleetwood Mac‘s “Dreams,” dazzling the crew. The cameras weren’t rolling, but that creative spirit is unmistakable. Watch up top.
