Regardless of her standing on The X Factor next season, Britney Spears has made it clear her real focus is on her next album. After tweeting that she’s working with “some new” producers, rumors swirled regarding who she’d have behind the scenes for her eighth album. But now we’ve got some concrete details! Elijah Blake, who said he’s working on it, appears to be out of the picture. Brit’s rep confirmed that the singer has enlisted will.i.am and hip-hop wunderkind Hit-Boy to work on her new material, according to Entertainment Weekly.

For those of you living in a purely Britney bubble, Hit-Boy was the beat-maker behind “Niggas In Paris,” “Clique” and “Backseat Freestyle.” And if he’s good enough for Kanye West, by God he’s good enough for Britney. Hey, come to think of it…what if…what if Hit-Boy somehow got the two superstars to link up? We can dream, can’t we?
