Rick Ross Survives Drive-By Shooting & Subsequent Crash On Worst Birthday Ever
Rick Ross was involved in a pretty harrowing scene in the wee hours this morning (January 28, which also happens to be his 37th birthday) in south Florida. According to NBC Miami, the Maybach Music Group honcho was driving his Rolls Royce with a female passenger in tow, when at 5:00 a.m. another vehicle approached and someone inside opened fire on Rozay’s luxury ride. Witnesses claim to have heard more than 20 shots.
As he tried to drive away from the assailant, Rozay crashed into an apartment building. Fortunately, the pair escaped the scene unscathed. And while his songs often deal with death, Ross and the woman were reportedly “visibly shaken up” by the incident. Police are still on the hunt for the shooter or shooters. As Ross would say, “Ugh.”
