Kanye West Filmed A Cameo For ‘Anchorman’ Sequel
Kanye West was spotted in Atlanta filming a cameo for Anchorman: The Legend Continues, according to E!. (Minor Anchorman spoilers ahead!) The rapper apparently shows up in a giant fight scene a la the local news throwdown in the first film — that one featured appearances by Tim Robbins, Ben Stiller and Luke Wilson back when a Luke Wilson cameo was a thing people cared about. In addition to Yeezy, the brawl in Anchorman 2 includes Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and Sacha Baron Cohen.
West, of course, is scheduled as the musical guest on the May 18 season finale of SNL. Perhaps now that he’s got some screen time under his belt, he’ll try out a live sketch or two. (This, of course, requires that we again point out his transcendently awkward Keeping Up with the Kardashians kameo.)
