The Weeknd’s “Kiss Land” Video: It’s NSFW, What Else Is New?

The Weeknd is on a video hot streak right now: in recent days we’ve seen him appear in a pair of gritty visuals for his feature spots on tracks from Juicy J (“One Of Those Nights”) and Tommy Hilfiger‘s son Ricky Hil (“Nomads”). Today (June 25) we get the staticky video for “Kiss Land,” the title track from his next album. Though the track is an epic 7:41, it’s been chopped in half for the video (the more aggressive “this ain’t nothing to relate to” second half is intact), which finds Abel Tesfaye brooding in some sort of sex club.

As this is The Weeknd, there are nude women, and they spend most of the clip fondling each other — but unlike in his “Twenty Eight” video, their naughty bits are pixelated out. Like the song’s artwork and the displays at Tesfaye’s recent Toronto show, Japanese graphics are featured throughout. Check it out up top.
