Chris Brown’s Probation For Beating Rihanna Has Been Revoked, He Now Faces 4 Years In Jail
Chris Brown could be spending the next four years in jail. That’s the bleak future Breezy now faces after his probation for assaulting Rihanna was revoked today (July 15). The reason for the decision? Prosecutors allege he violated the terms of his parole by committing a hit-and-run.
The definition of a hit-and-run is the crux of the matter. Chris rear-ended a Mercedes with his Range Rover on May 21 in Los Angeles. The female driver was unharmed and details were exchanged. Unfortunately for the “Fine China” singer, his paperwork was not in order and he couldn’t produce a valid license or insurance. This was determined to be a violation of state law.
Judge James R. Brandlin revoked Breezy’s probation on the spot and set a court date of August 16 to determine his punishment. See the R&B icon’s outraged Twitter response after the jump.
My cross is heavy but God gives me the strength to carry it.
