Holy Ghost!’s “Teenagers In Heat” Gets Rad NYC-Themed Lyric Video: Watch
Holy Ghost! have premiered the lyric video to their newest song “Teenagers In Heat,” and it’s good enough that the New York City duo probably won’t have to make a proper music video. (Five years ago, did anyone think lyric videos would evolve and become compelling in their own right?)
James Murphy co-produced the track, and the video channels the DFA mastermind’s idea of vintage NYC, with the lyrics displayed on stickers slapped onto surfaces throughout the city, all shot in grainy VHS style. Check it out up top.
“Teenagers In Heat” is off Holy Ghost!’s forthcoming sophomore LP, Dynamics, out September 10.
