Miguel Arrested For DUI In Los Angeles
Miguel was just adorned with a DUI. (Sorry. Had to.)
TMZ reports that the “#Beautiful” singer was arrested early this morning in Los Angeles. Highway patrol saw him speeding in his BMW X6 around 2:15 a.m. and pulled him over; officers saw that he smelled like alcohol, he failed first field sobriety tests, and then a breathalyzer test. He blew a .10 and .11; the legal limit in California is .08. Accordingly, he was arrested and booked at a nearby station, then released on $5,000 bail.
Following a banner year, the critically hailed singer-songwriter hasn’t had great luck as of late; mostly, there was the time when he wiped out an auditorium full of people with his groin during May’s Billboard Music Awards (okay, he landed on one girl’s neck). Here’s hoping it turns around for him.
His court date is scheduled for September. He has yet to release a statement.
