Cher Lloyd Pairs Up With T.I. On “I Wish”: Listen To The Full Version

After previewing the song on Wednesday (August 28), Cher Lloyd‘s new single “I Wish” featuring T.I. is now here. While it was planned to be officially released on August 31, it has followed the footsteps of other major pop songs recently and hit the Web prematurely.

The bright vocals and bubbly production match up perfectly with the singer’s fun personality, but it shows off a more playful side from the edgier King of the South. “I Wish” is the first single off Lloyd’s as-yet-untitled sophomore album (which is executive-produced by Shellback). It doesn’t have an official release date, but the singer recently told us, “I am trying to make these lovely people wearing suits bring it out quicker just because I owe it to the fans. They have been waiting very patiently, and I feel I’ve worked really, really hard on this one — not that I didn’t work hard on the last one, but I’ve been a lot more involved. Hopefully I’m looking at September.”
