NASCAR racing can be a highly lucrative career with some racers making tens of millions on just their wins alone. Rising to the top of the sport means getting to buy some pretty luxurious estates.

From Jeff Gordon's Manhattan condo at the prestigious Whitman Mansion to Kevin Harvick's home on the famous Kiawah Island, these are the homes of NASCAR's biggest stars.

Jeff Gordon is among the most famous NASCAR racers. Before becoming an announcer on Fox NASCAR, Gordon rose to third place for the most Cup wins with a total of 93! Gordon has also won the Daytona 500 three times and won 16 Crown Jewel races.

While Gordon was still a full-time racer, he bought the second-floor unit of the prestigious Whitman Mansion in Manhattan. There are only four units in the building, and some of Jeff's neighbors have included Chelsea Clinton, Jennifer Lopez, and Alex Rodriguez!

Gordon's Manhattan condo features a stunning living room that's full of natural light. Three large windows nearly reach from the floor to the tall ceilings and overlook Madison Square Park. The room is large enough to easily fit two sets of living room furniture that are arranged back-to-back, creating an open concept feel while still having a separation between parties.

A generous area rug gives the room a touch of comfort while the dark hardwood floors underscore the modern design. The unique architecture to the right makes the off-white walls feel far from plain.

A closer look at the living room's left wall reveals an aspect of this home's design that you don't often see. The sofa is not only built-in, but is floating! Built-in and/or floating cabinets are commonplace, but to have that in a couch is something you don't see every day.

To top it off, the sofa extends on either side, creating floating end tables that match its hardwood frame. Yellow and green accent pieces liven up the brown and cream color scheme, creating a design that is equal parts calm and vibrant.

It's a wonderful setup for those who like to eat on the couch since it has both comfort and functionality. It would also be a great place to play board games without being stuck in a stiff dining room chair for hours.

Gordon's kitchen is one that could take your breath away. The cabinets are so glossy that they have a reflective quality and bounce the light coming in from the windows. The huge island provides plenty of countertop space, while barstools enable more diners to comfortably gather.

Above the island are three eye-catching chandeliers that have bent glass to create an illusion effect. As beautiful as the kitchen is, it's just as functional. In addition to the ample storage and countertop space, there is a total of three ovens, a broiler, a microwave, and a built-in fridge.

Living in a big city typically means not having a smaller home. This condo may not seem enormous until you take a look at the seemingly endless hallway. The property is an entire city block long, and this part of the home certainly shows it.

Multiple doorways and recessed lighting make it feel like you're looking in a mirror, but make no mistake, this isn't an illusion. Denny Hamlin has been a full-time NASCAR racer since 2006, and he's been in the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs almost every year since. His first year, Hamlin placed third in the Chase for the NASCAR Nextel Cup standings, making him one of the most impressive rookies in recent history.

Hamlin's $77 million in winnings alone gave him plenty of cash to construct a 30,000 square foot, waterfront smart home on the edge of Lake Norman. The North Carolina property was completed in 2016 and sits on a 2.8-acre lot.

It could easily accommodate large parties who want to get together to watch one of Hamlin's races. Perhaps the most unique feature of this room is the showroom garage. Of course, a NASCAR driver wants to show off his vehicles. The glass walls and door allow him to do just that.

Some might be leary about building a multilevel forever home since stairs can be a challenge later in life. That won't be a problem for Denny Hamlin on account of the glass elevator that runs right through the middle of the modern staircase.

The top of the headboard acts as a drop ceiling with recessed lighting and a ceiling fan. Large light sconces are attached to either side of the generous headboard and match the black and white stripes. Floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors give a stunning view of the lake beyond.
